PS.NET/CAD - Incident
Full Incident Management

Premise Information FileSceen Shot Screen Shot
Associated with the geofile is a premise information file and comprehensive call history.  This file contains user defined information about a specific address or location, and directly links to historic CAD information.  The premise records can be grouped into user defined categories and designated for a particular agency (police, fire or EMS).  This file normally contains information on hazardous materials, medical conditions, registrants, etc.  Call history is automatically generated for any validated address entered into the system, and all previous calls for service information at the location is returned to the dispatcher.  The premise and history file is searched automatically and information returned to the operator on each incident.

Field Initiated IncidentsSceen Shot Screen Shot
On-view, vehicle stop, and subject stop commands are provided to allow rapid processing of field initiated activity.  These commands create the incident, place the unit at the scene, and can also submit an automatic inquiry to connected databases.  These incidents require input of minimum information and are created rapidly in a pop-up window.  The full incident can be recalled for additional details or to send backup units.

Case Number ManagementSceen Shot Screen Shot
PS.NET/CAD is capable of managing case number assignment for each configured agency.  Case numbers can be individually formatted and assigned for each agency using configurable critera.

Schedule EventsSceen Shot Screen Shot
PS.NET CAD allows any event to be scheduled for later handling using a variety of criteria.  Scheduling may be done on a single basis (once), re-occurring at a fixed interval, or re-occurring on a random basis.  Once scheduled, an event disappears from the displays and is re-generated at the scheduled time.  Each re-occurring event is self contained, with original input data, and a link between generated events for reporting purposes.  Random intervals were included to facilitate crime prevention, community oriented policing, extra patrol, and other special situations.  A utility function is available to review and manage all scheduled events.
