EIS’s PS.NET/SI Special Investigations module is ideal not only for local gang officers, but also for homeland security personnel, anti-terrorism departments, and any investigators seeking to track a complex web of relationships in a highly secure software application. The PS.NET/SI software is multi-faceted application, allowing authorized users to quickly collect and analyze information related to any special investigative needs, including gang tracking, organized crime and confidential investigations. The module provides a full crime report with names, vehicles, and narrative for use by the assigned investigators. With the fully integrated entity diagramming tool, data relationships can be visualized on command, quickly revealing links between perpetrators, events, vehicles, property and related elements.

Citizen Service WEB Portal
The PS.NET/Citizens Service Portal (CSP) is designed to improve communication between the public and the local public safety agencies, and provide public access to crime information for jurisdictions serviced by the participating agencies.  It is also an effort to streamline essential services and reduce the costs of local government.  The Citizen Service Portal will help public safety agencies provide an improved level of service and communications with the citizenry at large.  The application is provided as an inexpensive service that can provide big dividends for the participating agencies.  These services include the following.

Crime Activity Mapping - Interactive Crime and Activity Pin Maps showing selected crime categories within a geographic area for a selected time frame.  The portal pin mapping capability provides a “window” for the citizen to view neighborhood and community crimes and crime trends.

Crime Reporting - Provides a self service Crime Reporting portal for citizens to file selected categories of crime reports to the agency via a highly secure internet connection.  The portal approach benefits the public by allowing citizens to file reports from the convenience of their own homes, and assists the agency by reducing the resources required to take petty crimes and no-suspect reports.

Agency Integration - The Agency can also provide direct links to the services from their own internal WEB sites.  This makes the hosted service appear as part of the services provided directly by the Agency.

Browser Based, Modern Technology - The Citizens Service Portal employs a number of advanced services and technologies; including Microsoft Communications Foundation, a service based architecture, and Microsoft’s Silverlight.
