| Organization The Organization entry form is used for identifying and describing named organizations, ranging from local gangs to international terrorist groups. The module utilized the familiar outlook style tree to display all organizations in the system and a summary the members associated with each tracked group. Organizations can be classified according to user definable categories. A convenient member Identification/Activity form is directly associated with the organization form to speed data linking. The system includes a variable, agency definable checkbox collection capability to assemble specific organization attributes. The module fully supports the linking and maintenance of an unlimited array of images (photos or documents) to the displayed associated with the organization. With a single click the images and documents can be viewed. Photos are displayed 4 to a page; documents are displayed 1 to a page. The organization component includes a Purge function that may be used to remove the record if the law requires expungement after a certain time period. Member The Member entry form is used for identifying and describing individuals. The individual can be linked to an organization already in the system. By simply indicating that the individual is considered a member of the organization, all system cross linkages will be automatically established. The system tracks all data activity, and the Last Activity date field is set automatically when an activity is entered for the person. Name information can be quickly imported from the PS.NET/RMS Law Records Master Name Index with a few clicks of the mouse. Any member can be tagged with an unlimited number of alerts, which will automatically appear upon record display within the inquiry module. As an added benefit the added SI Alerts can also be transmitted to the PS.NET/RMS Law Records Master Name, and will appear in the Law Records inquiry if desired. The system supports an unlimited number of alias names, monikers and scars/marks/tattoos associated with the individual. All address and employment information is saved whenever the information is changed, creating a comprehensive history for the member. The interface displays a summary of all linkages in the system for all associated names, vehicles, weapons and activities. Any image linked to the record is immediately viewable as thumbnail, 4 to a page, or as documents in full page mode. |

| Vehicles The Vehicle Identification form contains fields for entering standard vehicle descriptors and a scrolling text region at the bottom for comments and additional descriptors. The vehicle record can be linked with members (Persons), activities or organizations or all. The Outlook style navigation menu displays the names that have been associated with the vehicle and other associations, such as an organization or activity. Linkages are established by using the related linkage function, and once created all links are cross referenced within the system. Activities Activities include a variety of events that bring the individual to the Department’s attention; activities may include crime reports, field contacts, arrests, warrants and miscellaneous information from other sources. Names and Members entered into the system may be linked to the tracked activities. With a quick click of the mouse, and system entities can be associated with the activity. If the selected person or entity has existing activity records in the system, they are displayed in the navigation tree under the appropriate category. Weapons Weapons, like vehicles, can be cataloged and tracked within the application, and must be identified before they can be linked to individuals and/or organizations. The module supports the standard information associated with weapons and includes descriptive data such as firearm manufacturers as well as manufacturers for other types of weapons like knives, rocket launchers, etc. Firearms can be further described by Caliber, Category (specific to firearms) and Finish. The Outlook style navigation menu clearly displays the names that have been associated with the weapon and other associations, such as an organization or activity. A weapon can be quickly linked to other database entities by simply selecting the “Associate” feature, and once created all links are cross referenced within the system. Secure Case Reports and Invest. Notes The module provides a full crime report with names, vehicles, and narrative for use by the assigned investigators. Activities can be full crime reports, field contact reports, citations, warrants, etc. Activity data can be imported from the RMS or entered directly. Data is generally abbreviated from that contained in the RMS. It is meant to provide and additional investigative capability, not to duplicate the RMS. In addition, the SI module has its own fully secured Investigative Reporting capability Photographs and Documents The Photo Catalog supports the management of photographic or scanned documents into the system, and directly linking the photo/document to an organization, member or activity. Images can be acquired from any source directly into the SI application. Images can be loaded from a file stored anywhere on the network through the image load function. Image can be directly from a scanner or digital camera via the standard Windows TWAIN capability. The system supports a complete suite of image manipulation functions, including zooming, cropping and general manipulating the image. To link the displayed image to an entity, simply select the link button and select the existing organization, name, scar/mark and/or activity records, all cross linkages will be automatically established within the system. The system can manage an unlimited number of images, and multiple images can be quickly linked. Personnel The Personnel list is used to facilitate identification of persons providing information. It may include Department personnel as well as employees of other agencies. This feature is for maintaining information of personnel participating in special investigation tasks for the purpose of facilitating entry of reporting officer and as a resource for accessing contact information. The entry form allows for entering personnel number, name, rank, title, Bureau assignment and a variety of phone numbers.
