Ocala, Florida. (April 20, 2008) – The Arroyo Grande Police Department, CA has placed an order to purchase the upgraded version of the high-tech PS.NET/CAD Advanced Mapping public safety software system from EIS.

The upgraded CAD software with advanced Mapping capabilities provides the agency with increased response, tracking, and reporting abilities as well as advanced functionality in the existing PS.NET/ CAD computer-aided dispatch solution. The new software provides a fully integrated geo-spacial capability, and will assist the agency in rapidly identifying valid response locations and provide enhanced activity analysis. The upgrades bring Arroyo Grande into compliance with the new Phase I and Phase II call location verification process and will enable the agency to integrate with the County level CAD integration project. The new CAD features will have a long-term impact on the agency's ability to support the agency communications operations, and to keep both officers and community members safe. The current PS.NET applications are built on modern Microsoft technology.
